Supacart Under New Development

This week I (computerdummie) have taken over the Supacart project from John Messingham.

The new homepage for Supacart is http://computer-dummies.eu, you will find there the latest news over Supacart also you can download all files for Supacart you need, there is also a support forum where you can ask your questions.

You also can still download Supacart from http://mambo-code.org/gf/project/supacart/ but for support you have to go to http://computer-dummies.eu

Announcing the Great Mambo Graphics Competition!

Calling all graphic designers and artists! This is your opportunity to showcase your creative skills and to give back to the Mambo community by designing a set of graphics for use with Mambo.

  • A banner, 480px x 60px;
  • A small banner, 180px x 60px;
  • A button, approx 120px x 180px for each of these: Mambo Bug Stomper, Mambo Translation Partner, Mambo Official Host, Mambo Supporter;
  • Button for forums, approx 80px x 80px with the words: Friend of Mambo;
  • Promotional badge for web sites, no more than 90px x 32px (see the "Powered by Mambo" badges here for inspiration :Mambo Powered)
  • Site eye candy. Replacements for the images used in the Mambo package (see here: Internal Graphics)

The Mambo graphics are old and do not properly represent a cutting-edge, modern CMS. You can see the entire range of our graphics on the Mambo Artwork space of our wiki..

Enter the competition now and help create a new, modern, compelling look for Mambo!

The competition will be judged by the community in a poll that will run for two weeks after the close of competition.
Competition closes on 15th November and the winners will be announced on 1st December 2008.

The winning graphics package will receive a year's free hosting from mamboserver.biz. The runner-up will receive a copy of "Learning Mambo - A Step by Step Tutorial" the book written by Douglas Patterson.
